Its live wildfire-related programmes are Volunteer Fire Assistance, Federal Excess Property, CWPPs, Firewise USA and the Conservation Seedling Program. About this program
Created by the Wildfire Prepared Act, signed April 7, 2025, with a $20M appropriation. The law 'establishes the Wildfire Prepared Program and Fund, which will support entities in the state that offer technical assistance, training, and grant funding to property owners'. As of August 2026 EMNRD has not stood the programme up - there is no page, no rules and no way to apply.
