Pano AI announced a successful pilot with South Lake County Fire, installing four Rapid Detect camera stations on peaks including Mt. St. Helena to speed fire triangulation.
This was a fixed-term pilot announced as completed in November 2021; the pilot itself has ended. AI wildfire-detection camera coverage in Lake County has since continued and expanded under other arrangements — a new AI wildfire detection camera was installed at Clear Lake in October 2025 as part of a statewide deployment push. Pano AI is unchanged as a company and raised a $44M Series B in June 2025.
