The request for bids covers a 12 acre forest stand improvement project on the UC Santa Cruz upper campus, removing trees and understory vegetation up to 8 or 12 inches diameter at breast height depending on the treatment unit. Ten acres are treatable with equipment and two acres require hand work only. A mandatory pre-bid walk was held July 31, 2026 and bids are due August 7, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
