District brought a second refurbished 1962 Bell UH-1H Huey online as a wildfire-suppression force multiplier, operated jointly with WA DNR, which supplies pilots.

Completed capital purchase; the aircraft entered service in 2021 and is operated jointly with Washington DNR, which supplies pilots. Buyer governance has since changed: Wenatchee Valley fire districts voted to merge in August 2022 and the department now operates as a regional fire authority under the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department name, so the buyer label remains correct but the underlying entity is the merged authority rather than the pre-2022 district.
