Same CPUC TURN hearing exhibit names Davey Tree Surgery (Davey Tree Expert Co.) as another SCE prime tree-trimming/pre-inspection contractor active 2018-2020, alongside Utility Tree Service and The Original Mowbrays.

Davey is still working for SCE. Davey Resource Group has run a rights-of-way project with Southern California Edison since autumn 2021 removing fire-prone invasive vegetation and replacing it with fire-resistant native pollinator habitat, with ongoing spot treatment and re-seeding planned; Davey publishes it as a current SCE client success story. SCE's vegetation management programme continues under its 2026-2028 Wildfire Mitigation Base Plan. No acquisition affecting the Davey Tree Expert Company, which remains employee-owned.
