SMUD's 2023-2025 Wildfire Mitigation Plan 2025 Update states that 'SMUD contracts with an external vendor to utilize LiDAR and remote sensing to supplement or enhance traditional boots-on-the-ground vegetation patrols.' The plan says this work has run annually since 2017 but names neither the vendor nor any dollar amount.

Existence of an ongoing vendor contract is confirmed in SMUD's own WMP, but vendor and value are not public. Not a discrete procurement action.
