Liberty Utilities piloted LiveEO's 50cm-resolution satellite imagery and AI platform near Joplin, Missouri to identify tree location, height, vitality, and species along power line corridors, aiming to replace annual helicopter patrols for encroachment and hazard-tree detection.

As of March 2024 Liberty's Central Region vegetation management manager was still describing this explicitly as a pilot programme for the electric transmission field, not a production deployment — so more than three years after launch it had not converted into a standing contract. No scale-up announcement located since. LiveEO remains independent and has since performed satellite vegetation risk analysis across the entire US transmission grid.
