PCWA's board approved a five-year agreement on Sept. 8, 2026 with Mason, Bruce & Girard Inc. to identify hazardous trees and vegetation around roughly 170 miles of canals, water treatment plants, powerhouses, roads and facilities and to support forest-health, fuels-reduction and watershed-restoration projects; the value was not disclosed. The firm has worked with PCWA for over a decade on the French Meadows Forest Restoration and Long Canyon Watershed Protection projects.
