The two-stage competition opened June 11, 2026 and concept proposals closed July 30, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time, so the solicitation is no longer accepting new entrants. Full proposals from invited applicants are due November 18, 2026 at 3:00 p.m., with awards of roughly $400,000 to $900,000 expected to be announced in January 2027. Funding comes from California Climate Investments.
