Open bid for mastication treatments on roughly 1,400 acres of private timberlands between Canyon Dam and Westwood spanning Plumas and Lassen Counties.

Funded by a CAL FIRE grant of $949,951.52 (agreement signed January 20, 2026; project period runs to March 15, 2029). The grant covers the Dyer Initiative WUI Fuels Treatments Phase II project only; this solicitation also bundles the East Shore Shaded Fuel Break Phase I, which is administered with Plumas County Fire Safe Council. The mastication contract price itself has not been published.
