Details
Menlo Park Fire Protection District, Qwake's long-time development and test partner, ran a live field trial of the C-Thru Navigator AR headset on December 19, 2024 at the Baylands Structural Collapse and Burn Center, with the unit expected to enter service in 2025. Qwake put individual unit cost at $5,000-$10,000. No purchase by the district was disclosed. Separately, Qwake holds a $4.7M DHS Science & Technology contract to produce 400 units for distribution to roughly 80 fire departments nationwide.
Dev-partner field trial, not a purchase. The $4.7M DHS S&T figure belongs to a separate federal contract and must not be attached to this record as its value.
