University of Oregon Hazards Lab

As of October 2025 the Oregon Hazards Lab operated 70 pan-tilt-zoom wildfire detection cameras across Oregon and contracts with ALERTWest to host the feeds, which carry over 1,600 cameras in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana and Nevada. Oregon partners listed for the network include the Bureau of Land Management, Oregon Department of Transportation and Eugene Water and Electric Board, and the lab issues camera and alert credentials to more than 200 users at over 50 agencies.
